Beauty Spotlight: Shower Steamers

Bath bombs have become a beauty sensation.  These fizzy balls that make your baths scented and colorful are amazing, yes, but there’s one problem; what if you don’t have a bath tub?  Especially in America, where most people only have half-baths and shower-only bathrooms, bath bombs become obsolete.  It doesn’t mean you can’t use them—I have a friend who just fills a tote up with water and uses the bath bomb in that.  However, not everybody really wants to take the effort.  And that’s where these beautiful little tablets come in.  Think of it as a bath bomb for your shower.  You place a tablet in the shower, put some hot water on it, and enjoy the invigorating scents from the essential oils within.  I actually use these while showering, but you can even just place it in your shower and go about your morning routine after putting a couple drops of hot water on it!

Nourish is a family-run and all-natural brand dedicated to skin care and bath products.  Only having a few stores in Savannah, Georgia, and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, their products are 100% handmade and paraben free. About the product

So my mom actually introduced me to this brand.  Being so far up north, I had never heard of this brand until my mom came back from Savannah with a bag full of their shower steamers.  I am a giant fan of bath bombs, so I was really intrigued by the idea of a shower steamer.  I tried one and was not disappointed!  Coming in a variety of scents that help with different things, I’m definitely addicted to these.  The one pictured is Mint Julep scented, which is great for fatigue, migraines, and anxiety.  My favorite (which I quickly used all up) though was Orange Blossom, meant to energize and uplift.  Other scents are Lavender, Lavender and Peppermint, and Lemon and Eucalyptus.  The best part is that these are only $3 each!  You can view all of their shower steamers on their website!
